2018 elején készítettem egy tesztvideót, ami végül nem jelent meg sehol. Mivel utálok szerepelni, pláne úgy csinálni, mintha tévés műsorvezető lennék, a koncepció az volt, hogy írok egy dalt, amelynek egyes részeiben a sokféle hangszínen megszólalni képes gitár kerül a középpontba, más-más konfigurációval. Az anyag a hozzá összevágott kisfilmmel együtt végül a kukában landolt, de úgy gondoltam, maga a zene van olyan jó, hogy ne maradjon végleg a fiókban. Így aztán ez lett a lemez címadó dala. Vagy majdnem az.
Tizennyolc év, és a Varso első lemeze után végre ismét teret engedhettem benne az olyan gitárosok iránti rajongásomnak, mint Carlos Santana vagy Al Di Meola - már amennyire ezt egy műkedvelő negyvenes apuka megengedheti magának. A cím ironikus utalás a világ legnagyobb balekjára, aki már több mint két és fél évtizedet végigkapált az undergroundban, és hobbizenészként máig képes 900 kilométert vezetni egy-egy próba kedvéért, pedig alapvetően nem is szeret utazni. Történetünk szereplője kitalált karakter, bármilyen hasonlóság valós személyekkel kizárólag a véletlen műve lehet. Hát hogyne.

I made a guitar demo video in early 2018 which eventually remained unreleased - biggest surprise of the year. Since I hate being in spotlight or to pretend that I'm a TV host my idea was to write a song which parts focused on different pick-up configurations and the rich variety of tones. Of course the video ended up in trash, but I felt the song itself is good enough to release in a remixed form. So then it became the title track… well, almost.
In this one, after 18 long years and the debut album of my first band, Varso, I could pay tribute again to guitarists like Carlos Santana or Al Di Meola, as far as a middle-aged family guy - who plays the guitar in his spare time - can do it. The title ironically refers to the biggest sucker of the world, who spent more than two decades in the underground and still able to drive more than 900 kilometres for a rehearsal, despite he’s not a professional musican and basically doesn’t like to be on the road. The story, all names, characters, and incidents portrayed in this song are fictitious. No identification with actual persons (living or deceased) is intended or should be inferred. I’m serious.
