Húszas éveim derekán arról ábrándoztam, hogy egyszer majd én is olyan leszek, mint azok a példaképeim, akik projektet projektre halmoznak, és folyamatosan ontják az új lemezeket. Ez nem sikerült, mivel arról senki nem tájékoztatott, hogy ilyesmit munkaidőn kívül elég nehéz megvalósítani, másrészt befejezett, kiadott dalok szükségesek hozzá, nem elég spiccesen összerakni félkészre pár számot.
Akkoriban még nem tudtam ezt, így aztán nem volt akadálya annak, hogy Cadmium Slumber - ma már fogalmam sincs, mire utaltam ezzel - néven egyszemélyes indusztriál / ambient projektbe fogjak, nagyjából az A Beautiful Machine, a Jesu és a kísérletezősebb - az év meglepetése - Godflesh-lemezek nyomvonalán. 2007 és 2009 között el is készült jó pár dal alapja, hogy aztán az egyiket sok évvel később valóban befejezzem, és felkerüljön erre az anyagra. A többiek még várnak, de talán ők is sorra kerülnek egyszer. (Mit talán?! Biztosan.)

In my mid-twenties I wanted to be like my heroes with tons of bands, projects, guest appearances and dozens of records as well. Unfortunately nobody told me back then that this thing is hard enough to do if you have a full-time job, on the other hand it’s not enough to do some semi-finished, slightly drunk recorded demos, you have to finish and release your albums. So this plan has failed - so far.
But I didn't know that at the time, so I started an industrial/ambient soloproject called Cadmium Slumber - by now I have no idea what I was referring to with that name - what was heavily influenced by A Beautiful Machine, Jesu, and - surprise of the year! - the more experimental side of Godflesh. Between 2007 and 2009 I made a handful of songs and this one is the first what I finished after long years to appear on this album. So you can hear it in a completed, bit reworked version - and you will surely hear the rest one day!
